St. Vincent De Paul Society

We are a group of volunteer men and women who live our faith and grow spiritually by offering person to person service to those who are needy or suffering. We operate a food locker at the back of the Church and a help desk in the St. Vincent de Paul store on Second St. Your monetary and food donations throughout the year help us meet the needs of several thousand needy adults and children in our community.

Welcoming Committee

The St. Michael Welcoming Committee (also known as the new parishioners’ welcoming committee) is the parish committee that is tasked with welcoming all new parishioners to our parish. The committee is composed of 15 members and headed by a chairperson. The committee hosts a potluck dinner for all new parishioners every 4th Tuesday of the odd numbered months at 7:00PM at the Parish Small Hall. The members also call and visit the new parishioners to invite them to the Potluck. Currently the committee is co-chaired by Charlene Grandfield and Dale Jones. If you would like to join the committee or have any questions about the potluck, please call the Rectory at 447-1585 and leave a message for Dale or Charlene.
